The 130th annual meeting of the Association will be held January 7–10, 2016, in Atlanta. More than 1,500 scholars will participate in the four-day meeting. In addition, more than 50 specialized societies and organizations have scheduled sessions and luncheons in partnership with the Association. AHA awards and honors will be announced on Thursday, January 7 followed by the plenary session. Vicki L. Ruiz, University of California, Irvine, will deliver the presidential address on Friday, January 8.
