Associate Editor, Web Content and Social Media
Stephanie edits content for the AHA website and maintains the AHA's social media presence. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephanie completed her AB in English and Spanish at the University of Georgia in 2010 and moved to Charlotte, where she worked writing well-punctuated closed captioning for television. Stephanie received her MA in English literature from the University of Virginia, where she specialized in American literature, textual studies, and book history. There, she learned about digital humanities methodologies by assisting on a variety of digital projects on both literary and historical topics. She participated in the Praxis Program at the UVA Scholars' Lab and was a Rare Book School UVA fellow.
Stephanie's historical interests include book history, textual studies, archives, and music history. In her spare time she plays the violin in a small ensemble and symphony orchestra.
