I’m thrilled to extend an invitation to you and your members for a special event featuring Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade, signing his latest book Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans.

 

You might remember Brian’s first two bestsellers on George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. This time, he’s back with an episode from Jackson’s life before the presidency—a little known battle that if lost, would have devastated the young United States. 

 

When the government has mismanaged the War of 1812, and Washington DC was burned, they were forced to turn to the “stubborn and crude Westerner” General Andrew Jackson. Jackson was tasked with defending New Orleans, the port city crucial to holding all of the Mississippi River and newly acquired Western Territory. The way the battle unfolded—and victory secured—was nothing short of miraculous.
