The Joe and Wanda Corn Fellowship is endowed by their former students Mike Wilkins and Sheila Duignan and supports scholars whose research interests span American art and American history. The recipient will be jointly appointed at the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) and the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History (NMAH) and will draw on the resources of both museums. Interested applicants are encouraged to identify an advisor and co-advisor from each museum. The Corn Fellowship is open to predoctoral, postdoctoral, and senior scholars. The stipend for a one-year predoctoral fellowship is $32,700; the stipend for a postdoctoral or senior fellowship is $4,000 per month for up to eight months. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2015
