The American Society for Environmental History (ASEH) invites attendance at its annual meeting in Washington, DC from March 18-22, 2015. The conference hotel, the Washington Marriott Georgetown, is located within walking distance of two Metro stops. This meeting will feature more than 100 sessions discussing climate change, environmental justice, endangered species, public lands, energy policy, forestry management, natural disasters, and other topics. Our conference will feature a large exhibit area featuring the latest research and scholarship in environmental history. Registration includes several receptions and other events. We also welcome participation in our field trips, led by environmental historians and geographers, on March 20 and March 22. This conference has partnered with the DC Environmental Film Festival, which will take place in DC at the same time as the conference.
