The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is now accepting nominations for their 2015 Annual Awards Program. Each year the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation presents awards for outstanding, creative work preserving or highlighting an aspect of Marine Corps history, traditions, culture or service. Both Marines and civilians are encouraged to submit their own entries or the distinguished work of others for award consideration. Awards will be presented at the award ceremony, which will be held on April 25, 2015 at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The deadline for submissions is January 9, 2015.

The Annual Awards is made up of 15 categories, including journalism, documentary, literature, screenplay, photography and poetry.  Previous winners come from an array of backgrounds – from Active Duty Marines to everyday civilians to world-renowned journalists – and have portrayed, captured or recreated some aspect of Marine Corps life. The awards submissions will be reviewed by a distinguished and diverse panel of editors from major regional and national media outlets, as well Marines, authors and noted photographers. 

Individuals are highly encouraged to participate in this important and prestigious program by submitting their own original work, or another’s work that they admire.
