Are you a teacher or interesting in teaching? Attend the 2012 Annual Meeting in Chicago to participate in all the exciting events we have available relating to teaching. Teacher Continuing Professional Development Units
Teachers registered for the meeting can earn Continuing Professional Development Units for attending sessions and workshops. The Illinois state form will be provided daily to be completed by the teacher for each day attended. Teachers from outside the state of Illinois may be able to use the form for their own state's requirements. A new form will be available each day in Registration located in River Exhibition Hall B in the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
Teacher-Student Rates
To nurture interest in history among students and to encourage their mentors, the AHA is offering special discounted annual meeting registration rates for teachers of high school, undergraduate, pre-candidacy graduate students who are AHA members and who are accompanied to the meeting by small groups of their students.
