Allen Mikaelian is a New York Times bestselling author. The co-author (with Donald Cohen) of The Privatization of Everything (The New Press), he lives in Washington, DC. He served as editor of Perspectives on History from 2012–14. He has worked as an in-house book editor, freelance non-fiction writer, adult basic education instructor/program manager, and as an adjunct lecturer in history.
