Former AHA president Tyler Stovall (Univ. of California, Santa Cruz) was recently appointed as the dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Fordham University. Stovall served as AHA president in 2017 and as dean of the Humanities Division at UC Santa Cruz before accepting this position, which he officially assumes in July 2020.
