March 3, 2017 - Emily Swafford, the AHA's manager of academic affairs, will attend Columbia University History Department's "History in Action Day" conference on March 3. The event concludes the department's participation in the AHA's Career Diversity for Historians initiative as the first phase of the project comes to a close. The conference will reflect on the ways History in Action at Columbia has activated history in the public sphere and explored the role of historical training in diverse careers.
