The National Endowment for Humanities' (NEH) Humanities Initiatives grant programs offer 1-3 year awards of up to $150,000.

Application Deadline: July 16, 2020

Optional Preliminary Review Due: June 18, 2020

Humanities Initiatives strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities by developing new humanities programs, resources (including those in digital format), or courses, or by enhancing existing ones.

These grants serve:

• Colleges and Universities (new this year)
• Community Colleges
• Hispanic-Serving Institutions
• Historically Black Colleges and Universities
• Tribal Colleges and Universities
