Registration is open for the the Association for Documentary Editing's 2023 conference in Washington, DC, on June 22–25. Please preregister by June 5 at https://www.documentaryediting.org/wordpress/?page_id=8264.

 

The conference, with the theme "Modalities of Text and Editing," will be at American University and the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavilion. You may attend in person or virtually. To make the conference welcoming and equitable, the ADE Council has elected not to charge registration fees. Attendance is free.

 

Preregistration is not required but will greatly aid our planning. It is required for the banquet, breakfast, and housing; to guarantee spots on tours; and to receive virtual sign-in links. The Council is using ADE funds to keep the banquet and breakfast fees as low as possible. A limited number of assistantships, compensated with free meals at both, are available for students who assist at the registration desk.

 

For housing, you can reserve rooms in an AU residence hall as part of the preregistration process until June 5, or you can book rooms at the Embassy Suites directly until May 22. Please notify us of any needed accessibility arrangements by May 22.
