Please join us on 7-8 April 2023 at Avon Old Farms School, Avon, CT for an unusual and provocative conference that aims to historicize our own moment. Keynote speakers include historian of capitalism, the Gilded Age, and the American West Richard White (Stanford University) and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Ramita Navai (PBS and Channel 4). 

Sessions focus on war and memory, technology and misinformation, climate change, existential threats to democracy, and the role of education amid rapid change.
