On behalf of the Australian & New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine (ANZSHM) we look forward to welcoming you to the 2023 conference.

​

The conference will take place between 12 – 15 July 2023 at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. This first face-to-face gathering since COVID-19 will provide a unique opportunity for anyone interested in the history of health and medicine to network and to explore medical histories of all kinds, including re-examining long-established historical opinions.

​

Social highlights include Welcome Drinks on Tuesday 11 July and the ANZSHM Conference Dinner on Thursday 13 July.

​

We hope you will join us in person in Adelaide. 

​

The call for abstracts will open in January and close in April 2023.

 

Ben Haneman Memorial Conference Grants for Postgraduate Research Students and Early Career Researchers

The ANZSHM offers grants to postgraduate research students and early career researchers, to assist them to present papers at its Biennial Conferences.
