World on the Move: 250,000 Years of Human Migration, developed by the American Anthropological Association and the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, aims to expand the public conversation about a timely yet timeless topic: migration and displacement. The traveling exhibition debuts Saturday, June 18 and runs through August 28, 2022, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library—Central Library in Washington, D.C. The exhibition at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library is the first stop on a tour of U.S. libraries through 2025, after which it will go on a broader international tour.
