Call for papers for Race and Racism: Beyond the Spectacular, a special issue of TAPA, the journal of the Society for Classical Studies. The issue will be published in Spring 2023 and will be co-edited by Sasha-Mae Eccleston and Patrice Rankine.

Authors may submit papers from August 1, 2021 until January 1, 2022. Scholars from fields with disciplinary trajectories that are similar to Classics, with research interests that dovetail with Classics, or whose work is assumed to have no relationship to race and/in the Classics are especially encouraged to submit papers.
