The annual Delphi Award presents a $15,000 cash award to each of two applicants who have worked to support non-tenure-track, contingent and/or adjunct faculty in pursuing strategic priorities such as student learning and community engagement.

We seek applications from a wide range of groups (e.g. campuses, consortia, disciplinary groups) at multiple levels who have made changes to support non-tenure-track faculty. We seek applications from individuals and small groups as well as larger groups and organizations. Our aim is to recognize excellent efforts to support faculty.

Applicants are not limited to colleges or universities, but we do require that applicants show they are having an impact on colleges or universities, primarily because colleges and universities remain the contexts wherein non-tenure-track faculty do their work (see application requirements for details). Above all, we seek applications that demonstrate concrete changes that support non-tenure-track faculty. We seek examples from all sectors of two-year and four-year higher education institutions.

The application period for the 2019 Delphi Award runs from Feb. 15, 2019, to July 15, 2019. Visit our website for application criteria and instructions.
