The Social Science Education Consortium is seeking paper proposals for its 2019 annual conference in Charlotte, NC, on July 17-21. Proposals due on February 15, 2019; acceptances informed by March 15. See the SSEC website for details on theme and submission guidelines. Limited travel/conference support available for selected Young Scholars (advanced doc students and pre-tenure faculty).

The Social Science Education Consortium, Inc., founded in 1965, promotes the teaching of history and social science in the schools. Its members include professionalhistorians and social scientists, social science educators, and teacher educators.
