The Digital Edition Publishing Cooperative for Historical Accounts (DEPCHA) will hold a Workshop on Digital Edition of Historical Accounting Records in Conference Room 4A at the Hilton Chicago from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019.  We are pleased to be able to offer a small number of honoraria for participants interested in creating new editions of historical accounting records for online publication.

Applicants for travel honoraria must complete this application form no later than November 30, 2018. The applications includes a 500-word summary of the related editorial project and detailed information about the documents that are the focus of the intended documentary edition.

The honoraria are supported by a planning award under the Digital Edition Publishing Cooperatives Initiative, a joint initiative of the National Historic Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Successful candidates will be notified on December 1, 2018, and must complete and submit all paperwork for disbursement of funds no later than December 15, 2018.

Because the funds must be disbursed before December 31, 2018, deadlines will be strictly observed.
