Congratulations to AHA member Cynthia E. Orozco (Eastern New Mexico Univ., Ruidoso), who recently received the National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies (NACCS) 2023 Scholar Award, a lifetime achievement award based on her scholarship, leadership, and teaching. Orozco has been a leading advocate for Chicana studies and was a founder of NACCS' Chicana Caucus.
