Krista Grensavitch
Teaching Resource Developer

Krista Grensavitch (she/her) is a Teaching Resource Developer with the AHA’s NEH-funded initiative, “Teaching Things: Material Culture in the History Classroom.” She earned a BA in Classical Studies from Carthage College, a MA in Women's and Gender Studies and a PhD in History, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Krista's research and teaching are at the intersection of identity, material culture studies, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). In addition to her work at the AHA, she is Senior Lecturer in Comparative Ethnic Studies, History, and Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
