National Book Festival: NEH Nonfiction Favorite author Tami Lewis Brown reading for children

Event Details

End: September 5, 2015

This summer, the National Endowment for the Humanities released a new Nonfiction Favorites book list. One of the authors, who is local, has agreed to do a reading at the NEH booth at the National Book Festival to formally launch the product. Her name is Tami Lewis Brown, and she wrote a lovely book for younger primary school students about a pioneering woman aviator. The reading, which is free, will be at 2 PM, and the NEH booth is Booth 653 in the Pavilion of the States area. If you have young children or grandchildren, especially in the K-4 age group, please consider bringing them by for the reading. The author even has props, like a vintage aviator cap!

The National Book Festival will take place at the Library of Congress on Saturday, September 5. For more information and a complete schedule of events, go to https://event.crowdcompass.com/natbookfest15
