The registration is open for the 14th congress of the International Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ISECS 2015), Opening markets, trade and commerce in the eighteenth century, in Rotterdam, the Netherland, July 27-31, 2015 (isecs2015.wordpress.com/register/). During the congress papers and posters are presented, panels and round tables are organized on all topics and issues dealing with the long eigtheenth century and the age of Enlightenment (1670-1830). Submission of papers and posters is open until January 12, 2015. The ISECS congress is the largest meeting of 18th-century scholars in the world. Preceding the congress is an ISECS early career eighteenth-century scholar seminar in Amsterdam (July 20-24, 2015), Emotional economies, the political and social economics of emotions during the long eighteenth century.
