Using This Syllabus: This syllabus, developed for a course offered at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Spring 2016, provides sample texts, discussion questions and practical assignments that can be utilized in similar seminars.

Purpose of This Course: Students in this course learn about a broad range of career paths by having conversations with invited guests and reading texts on the state of the profession. Hands-on activities, such as creating oral presentations and writing resumes, help students confidently develop new professional skills.
