Golden Age of Piracy
A Resource Guide
The Golden Age of Piracy: A Resource Guide contains a wide variety of materials, both primary and secondary, for the study of pirates active in the Caribbean, along the North American eastern seaboard, the West African coast, and the Indian Ocean during the period 1650-1726. The guide lists many of these resources, particularly those that are available online, either through the Library of Congress website, or beyond. The materials include letters, maps, travel accounts, exhibits, trial accounts, and prints.
