Wendi Maloney is a writer-editor in the Library of Congress’s Office of Communications. She manages the Gazette, the Library’s weekly staff newsletter, and writes for the Library’s blog and magazine. She joined the Library of Congress staff in 2007 as a writer-editor in the US Copyright Office. Previously, Wendi was publications director at the American Association of University Professors for nearly a decade. Wendi joined the American Historical Association in 1993 and served as assistant editor, associate editor, and editor of Perspectives on History until 1997. She has also worked at the Time-Life Books, and Yale University Press. Wendi has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
