The 100th annual meeting was held on December 27–30, 1985, at the Marriott Marquis in New York. AHA President William H. McNeill (University of Chicago) gave the presidential address, “Mythistory, or Truth, Myth, History and Historians,” at the General Meeting on Saturday, December 28.
