The 45th annual meeting was held on December 29–31 at the Copley Plaza Hotel, Boston University, and Harvard University in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. AHA President Evarts Boutell Greene (University of Illinois) gave the presidential address, “Persistent Problems of Church and State,” at the Annual Dinner on Tuesday, December 30.
