The 29th annual meeting was held on December 29–31 at the New Charleston Hotel and The Citadel in Charleston and the Jefferson Hotel in Columbia, South Carolina. AHA President William A. Dunning (Columbia University) gave the presidential address, “Truth in History,” at the general session on Monday, December 29.
