The Western Association of Women Historians invites submissions of panels, papers, workshops, and other types of academic presentations for the 2026 conference to be held in Sacramento, California, April 23-25. Graduate students are welcome and encouraged to consider submitting to the poster session which offers an award for the best presentation. Submissions can be on any aspect of the study, research, and teaching of history. Single papers are welcome. If you would like help constructing a panel, please be sure to use the Collaboration Worksheet to identify potential panelists and chairs/commentors.
