Many of our members have had grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities abruptly terminated. In response, the AHA and partner organizations are convening an Information Exchange about the NEH Appeal Process.
The conversation will take place on Wednesday, April 30 at 11 a.m. EDT on Zoom, and will be hosted by the Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH), the American Historical Association (AHA), and the Modern Language Association (MLA).
The conversation will be led by Lauren Tilton (co-president, ACH); Sarah Weicksel (director of research and publications, AHA); and Jason Rhody (senior director of engagement strategy, MLA).
The MLA’s document on Appeals Strategies for NEH Terminated Grants might be a useful resource for you or your organization to refer to as you navigate the appeals process; this is not legal advice.
