AHA in the News

Approves New School History Standards” by Karina Elwood in the Washington Post and “After Delay and Controversy, New History Standards Approved for Virginia Students” by Nick Iannelli on WTOP. “History is a subject that is defined by debate,” Gillis told WTOP. “There’s never going to be any full consensus about how we tell the history of our country or the history of the world, and that’s important.”
