AHA Research Division Vice President Named Dean of Montana State University College of Letters and Science

William Thomas (Univ. of Nebraska–Lincoln), vice president of the AHA Council’s Research Division, has been announced as the new dean of Montana State University’s College of Arts and Sciences. “[Thomas’] leadership in fostering student success, research and public service, combined with his deep commitment to preparing the future workforce of tomorrow, will make him a valuable asset to our College of Letters and Science and to MSU as a whole,” said Robert Mokwa, MSU executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. Thomas will begin his new position in January 2025.
