AHA member Annette Gordon-Reed (Harvard Univ.) was recently named University Professor, Harvard’s highest faculty honor. Among Gordon-Reed’s other honors are a Pulitzer Prize in History, the National Book Award for Nonfiction, a Guggenheim Fellowship in the Humanities, a MacArthur Fellowship, and a fellowship from the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.
