Congratulations to AHA member Georg B. Michels (Univ. of California, Riverside), who has been awarded the Hans Rosenberg Book Prize for his monograph The Habsburg Empire Under Siege: Ottoman Expansion and Hungarian Revolt in the Age of Grand Vizier Ahmed Köprülü (1661–76) (McGill-Queens Univ. Press, 2021). The prize is awarded annually by the Central European History Society to the best book on central European history by a North American scholar.
