Edgar Hoover and the Making of the American Century, as well as to historian Jefferson Cowie (Vanderbilt Univ.), who was awarded the 2023 Pulitzer Prize in History for his book, Freedom’s Dominion: A Saga of White Resistance to Federal Power.
