The AHA’s letter opposing Texas State Bill 18 was featured in the North Dallas Gazette. SB 18 would eliminate tenure for new hires at public institutions in the state beginning in 2024 and “would instantly and irrevocably depreciate the value of the state’s admirable monetary investments in higher learning.”
