AHA in the News

The National Endowment for the Humanities has funded two institutes that the AHA will organize next summer. “Africa in World History” will bring together K–12 teachers to enhance their knowledge of major issues and produce a digital sourcebook to be hosted on the AHA website. At a second institute, historians working in higher education will divide their time between the Clinton Presidential Library and online activities to explore “Changes Across the Land: Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century United States Environmental History and Policy.”
