Digital Humanities Congress | University of Sheffield, 6th – 8th September 2018

 

The University of Sheffield’s Digital Humanities Institute is delighted to announce its Call for Papers for a three-day conference to be held in Sheffield, 6th – 8th September 2018.

 

The Digital Humanities Congress is a conference held in Sheffield every two years. Its purpose is to promote the sharing of knowledge, ideas and techniques within the digital humanities.

 

The Digital Humanities Institute is the new name for HRI Digital, one of the UK’s leading centres for the digital humanities: https://www.dhi.ac.uk

  • Professor Bob Shoemaker (Professor of Eighteenth-Century British History, University of Sheffield).
  • Professor Sarah Kenderdine (Professor of Digital Museology, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
  • Professor Susan Schreibman (Professor of Digital Humanities, Maynooth University).
Submitting a Proposal

We welcome proposals for individual papers and sessions on all aspects of Digital Humanities research, teaching, and infrastructure. 

 

Proposals are welcome from academics, researchers, postgraduate students, professionals from within the cultural, heritage and information sectors, technologists and SMEs. Proposals are welcome from UK and international contributors.
