Denbo stated that like historical video games such as Assassin's Creed, digital projects give audiences "an idea of what these historical spaces and experiences were like for people in the past." The article also features several digital history projects, from photography colorization to an interactive topographical map of the D-Day invasion at Normandy. "It feels a little like we've been given the ability to time travel," Denbo said.
