Virginia Dale Stage Station Open House Event

No fee or registration is needed to attend this event. This is our annual Open House Fundraising Event for the non-profit Virginia Dale Community Club. The funds raised will be used for the continued preservation and restoration of the historic 1862 Virginia Dale Stage Station and the adjoining 1909 Hurzeler log cabin. To showcase our “Celebrating the Past,” our speakers this year will be Ken Jessen (Overland Trail), Sylvia Garofalo (History of the Stage Station), Fred Rodriguez (Native American Drumming and Dancing), and Kelsey Bibo (The Dale Creek Project). Native American Dancers will be performing, and an 1864 Baseball Rules Game will be played. The McKays will perform live music, and artisans will be selling their beautiful creations. Lunch and baked goods may be purchased from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with cash or checks.
