The American Historical Association hosted a Congressional Briefing offering historical perspectives on the history of US military alliances. The briefing took place on Wednesday, September 11 at 9:00 a.m. ET in Rayburn House Office Building Room 2045.
Moderator Dane Kennedy (George Washington Univ.) and panelists Gregg Brazinsky (George Washington Univ.) Renata Keller (Univ. of Nevada, Reno), and Jeremi Suri (Univ. of Texas, Austin) discussed the historical contexts in which US military alliances emerged and the historical framing of such alliances.
