The AAPSS will award the 2025 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Prize to historian Timothy Snyder, who will deliver this year’s Daniel Patrick Moynihan Lecture on Social Science and Public Policy. More information about the lecture, titled “Ukrainian Humanity: Rethinking How History Is Told,” is available here.
Olga Stefanishyna, Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, will address the audience prior to the lecture. Her remarks will be followed by a brief introduction by Angela Stent. After the lecture, Snyder will relate his historical work to current debates in a conversation with Alexa Chopivsky. Please RSVP by Oct 25th
