Mishka Wazar

Mishka Wazar is a 2023 Princeton GradFUTURES Social Impact Fellow at the American Historical Association. She is a PhD student at Princeton University and she works on the history of psychiatry and medicine in colonial South Africa. Mishka completed her MA at New York University and her bachelor's degree at Rhodes University in South Africa. She is a recipient of a Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship and a Mandela Rhodes Scholarship. She had previously worked as a journalist for The Daily Vox, and has bylines in The Mail & Guardian and Al Jazeera.
