Alana Venable is the managing editor at the AHA. She previously served as deputy managing editor of the American Historical Review and as the editorial assistant fo the publications department at the AHA. As managing editor, she provides support for the publication of the journal as well as Perspectives on History (the AHA’s member magazine). Alana graduated from William & Mary in 2020.
