About #AHRSyllabus Submissions
First launched in September 2023, the #AHRSyllabus modules feature innovative projects on uses of historical method in the classroom. Modules may include a short essay, lesson plan, classroom activity, primary source collection, videos, or other pedagogical resource.
Before submitting a proposal, please review previous #AHRSyllabus modules to get a sense of how these pieces look and how different types of components (images, videos, external and internal links, text boxes, etc.) appear in the journal.
For multi-authored pieces and collections of contributions (such as a forum), one “corresponding author” must be designated. This person is responsible for submitting the proposal and, should the project move forward, will serve as the point person for all communication about the editorial and production processes.
Proposals for new #AHRSyllabus modules should provide:
- Project title
- A project description (500-750 words)
- With these templates in mind, please include any information on the format you envision for your module. Consider any lesson plans, classroom activities, images, primary sources, videos, audio, etc. that you would like to include.
