The 55th annual meeting was held on December 27–30 at the Hotel Pennsylvania and Hotel McAlpin in New York City. AHA President Max Farrand (Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery) gave the presidential address, “The Quality of Distinction,” at the Annual Dinner on Saturday, December 28.
