The AHA is pleased to recognize several members who were recently named as recipients of grants.
Congratulations to Steven W. Hackel (Univ. of California, Riverside), David Thomas Orique (Providence Coll.), and Marina Rustow (Princeton Univ.), who have been named as recipients of grants for humanities projects from the National Endowment of Humanities.
Charles T. Strauss (Mount St. Mary’s Univ.) has been awarded the Louisville Institute’s Grant for Researchers for his project, Catholics and the Nuclear Age, 1945–1990.
AHA members appeared elsewhere in the press as well. Jim Grossman (American Historical Assn., emeritus) was quoted in a New Yorker article on the Washington, DC, booth at the Great American State Fair.
