AHA researchers Nicholas Kryczka, Whitney E. Barringer, and Scot McFarlane authored “Changing the Subject in the School Wars: An American Historical Association Research Team Perspective,” a forum discussing findings from American Lesson Plan: Teaching US History in Secondary Schools. The forum was published in the May 2025 issue of History of Education Quarterly. AHA members Natalia Mehlman Petrzela (New School) and Johann Neem (Western Washington Univ.) also contributed essays to the forum.
