On September 14 at 3:00 p.m. ET, C-SPAN American History TV will air the AHA’s Congressional Briefing on the history of federal safety regulations in transportation. This briefing, which took place in May, featured panelists Janet Bednarek (Univ. of Dayton), Jeff Davis (Eno Center for Transportation), and Peter Norton (Univ. of Virginia), and Alexandra Levy (AHA) as moderator.

On September 21 at 2:50 p.m. ET, C-SPAN will air the AHA’s Congressional Briefing from July on The Federal Government & Academic Freedom in Higher Education. Moderator James Grossman (AHA) and panelists David A. Bell (Princeton Univ.), Natalia Mehlman Petrzela (New School), and David M. Rabban (Univ. of Texas School of Law) provided historical context on current conversations regarding relationships between public policy, academic freedom, and the First Amendment.
